Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests

The Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests are high school mathematics competitions hosted by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing at the University of Waterloo.  These contests provide a unique platform for students to hone their problem-solving abilities, cultivate their critical thinking skills, and compete with students across Canada and internationally.

In an outstanding achievement, Western Canada High School ranked first place in the province of Alberta in the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest for grade 11 and 12 students and ranked first place in Alberta for the Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest for Grade 10 students.  This accomplishment highlights the hard work, dedication, and brilliance of our students and underscores the significance of participating in rigorous contests.
